Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Attends A Film Festival
On January 14th, Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority and Member of the Dubai Council, attended the third edition of the ‘Al Marmoon: Film in the Desert’ festival. The event which was held at the Marmoon Desert Conservation Reserve and put together by Dubai Culture highlighted the #DubaiDestination winter campaign. The idea of the campaign was to empower those in the local cinema sector and motivate creative individuals within the industry to share their experiences with others.

Sheikh Hamdan Shares Images Of His Icy Finland Trip
Dubai’s Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan posted a series of carousel images enjoying the great outdoors in Finland. Quite the opposite to the scorching heat the Middle East has to offer, we got to see the way of life in Lapland, camping on the clear white blankets of snow through Sheikh Hamdan’s eyes.
Sheikh Mana Al Maktoum Enjoying The “High” Life
There’s something about the royals during winter that makes them want to escape the Middle Eastern cool breeze and experience more of the frosty, arctic chill. Unlike Sheikh Hamdan, Sheikh Mana showed more of an active trip on his socials, polishing his skiing skills and taking a trip above the skies over the French Alps. Keeping active, both Sheikh’s are seen outside, getting involved in various activities the snow slopes has to offer.
HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Announces Lunar Space Station Project
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced the development of the lunar space station in the UAE. With works starting immediately, the project will represent ‘one of the biggest ambitions of humans in space during the next decade.’
Queen Rania Al Abdullah Visits Wada Musa
Queen Rania of Jordan visited local women and youth who are driving initiatives in Wada Musa. Her Majesty dressed in a sophisticated black patterned dress with delicate embroidery. A subtle fashion statement to blend in with the local community and join in with the open discussions on positive changes.
