Emirates plans to operate passenger flights to multiple international cities next week.
As of April 25 flights to Frankfurt, Jakarta, Johannesburg, Lagos, London Heathrow, Madrid, Manila and Tunis will be operating and available for those who wish to return to their home country.
All flights can be booked directly on emirates.com or via their travel agent except for Tunis, Lagos and Johannesburg; individuals wishing to travel to the latter three destinations must contact the respective embassy or consulate in the UAE.
Health and safety measures implemented in the UAE and country of destination must be carefully followed. For this reason inflight services have been modified to reduce contact and risk of infection.
Only citizens who meet the entry requirements of the destination country will be allowed to board the flight. Moreover, passengers must follow social distancing guidelines during the journey and ensure they are equipped with masks at the airport and on board. Travellers should arrive at Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport, three hours before departure.
These services will be available to residents and visitors wishing to return home. To ensure the safety of all passengers and staff, all Emirates aircrafts will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each journey.
