Dubai Fashion Week and the Arab Fashion Council just announced that Carolina Herrera, one of the industry’s most prominent luxury houses, is this year’s guest of honour, preparing to delight the audience at the forthcoming Dubai Fashion Week Spring Summer 2024, under the Creative Direction of Wes Gordon.
The season will begin on October 8, 2023, with a private meeting of media and celebrities who will inaugurate the much-anticipated event, followed by a special showcase of the Maison’s much-anticipated SS24 collection the next day. On October 9, guests attending the prestigious event will have access to Carolina Herrera’s exclusive designs along with an opportunity to connect with the creative masterminds behind the collection.
Creative Director Wes Gordan said, “We are thrilled to be a part of Dubai Fashion Week for this season. We couldn’t be happier to have the opportunity to bring our Spring Summer Collection all the way from New York, and to have the opportunity share it with the fashion community of Dubai and the Arab Fashion Council. We look forward to staging an unforgettable experience.”
This event is a beautiful celebration of creativity and style in the Middle East and another reminder of the region’s impact on the global fashion scene.
Khadija Al Bastaki, Senior Vice President of Dubai Design District (d3), part of TECOM Group, shares that “Carolina Herrera’s participation in Dubai Fashion Week is a testament to the growing significance of Dubai as a global fashion hub and influence. As our region continues to evolve into a powerhouse for fashion and luxury, Dubai Fashion Week is pivotal in highlighting the talent and creativity within this vibrant and diverse region and bringing new fashion and creative experiences to audiences here – and with Carolina Herrera’s participation this edition, it is certainly doing that.”
