Both style enthusiasts and creatives from the region are once again gearing up for the coveted Dubai Fashion Week (DFW), which is all set to make its return for the Spring/Summer 2025 season.
It was announced on May 20 that the five-day event, founded by the Dubai Design District and the Arab Fashion Council, will make its anticipated return from September 1 to 5, 2024.

Celebrating both local and international creatives, the catwalk will see entirely new and exciting collections that will be unveiled in Dubai, adding to the global design arena.
Dubai Fashion Week Is Back: What To Expect
Taking place right before fashion weeks in New York, London, Milan, and Paris, the event aims to provide a platform for designers in the region to be one of the first to lead the season’s style scene as well as get a chance to mingle with buyers and stakeholders in the realm.

The event is set to add to continue to add to Dubai’s flourishing image as a global fashion and art hub, showcasing the region’s relentless drive towards supporting creative endeavours, sustainable practices as well as showcasing cultural traditions through design.
Besides citywide catwalk shows and collection displays, those part of the industry can also look forward to panels, discussions, dinners, events, and networking opportunities.

Dubai Fashion Week Coincides With The 10th Anniversary Of Arab Fashion Council
Marking a momentous era, the season will also coincide with the Arab Fashion Council completing a decade.
Looking back at the last 10 years, attendees of the previous editions of the coveted fashion extravaganza have witnessed significant moments.
For instance, when Carolina Herrera was invited as a guest of honour last October with a special presentation by the brand’s Creative Director Wes Gordon, supermodel Naomi Campbell closed the show for Rizman Ruzaini, and Moroccan designer Maison Sara Chaibi made her DFW debut with her collection.
Renowned Dutch creative Iris van Herpen and iconic French couturier Jean Paul Gaultier have also been guest designers to showcase their work at the DFW.
The official calendar for the September session, designer lineup, as well as ticketing information, are yet to be announced. Check back for more details.
