Tony Ward
Date: 21 January 2019
Couture runs in the family for this designer, being the son of a well-known Beirut couturier. After working at Lanvin, Christian Dior and Chloe with some of the industries greatest talents, he went on to launch his own label. His creations are already a major highlight at PCW, the entire collection giving us dark fairytale vibes.
Georges Hobeika
Date: 21 January 2019
Last couture week this designer really owned the exuberance-over-everything trend, going heavy on the feathers and crystals. We can’t wait to see which direction they take it this year: continue on with the ultra-glam trend or swap it for understated elegance.
Maison Rabih Kayrouz
Date: 21 January 2019
This new kids on the block are not your typical couturier: Maison Rabih Kayrouz ditches the intricate embroidery and instead opts for a contemporary interpretation. They’re bound to show something special – it is their 10-year anniversary, after all!
Rami Kadi
Date: 22 January 2019
Despite being a celeb magnet – counting Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, and Sonam Kapoor as some of their many famous fans – this will be Rami Kadi’s first time showing in Paris Couture Week. The Lebanese brand has contemporary glamour down to a science with glitzy gowns, scandalous couture, and over-the-top performancewear.
Elie Saab
Date: 23 January 2019
Last season Elie Saab really leaned into their strong suit: romantic silhouettes, flowy fabrics and hyper-femme details. Always a fan-favourite at PCW, they’re sure to take it up a notch this season.
Zuhair Murad
Date: 23 January 2019
Zuhair Murad’s last show will be hard to beat, finishing the show off with Victoria’s Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio. Aside from star-studded casting, we expect to see more beautiful beadwork and daring silhouettes from their latest couture collection.
Azzi & Osta
Date: 24 January 2019
Another favourite of Queen Bey, Lebanese couturier duo Azzi & Osta will be showcasing their ultra-femme futuristic pieces at this year’s PCW.
