Aigner Collaborates With Kuwaiti Fashion Blogger To Create Your Dream Everyday Bag

Blogger, entrepreneur and proud mum Ascia Al Faraj is taking the fashion world by storm. With over two million followers watching her every sartorial move on social media, the Kuwaiti icon is known for her modest fashion that she styles in a very modern way.

And now the 28-year old Instagram star adds ‘fashion designer’ to her ever-growing resume as she announced her collaboration with luxury fashion house Aigner. Together with the brand’s creative director Christian Alexander Beck, the duo designed the everyday bag that is sure to top all your gifting wish-lists.

“Two years ago when I met Ascia at our showroom in Milan during my preparations for the fashion show I thought right from the start that I want to work with her one day,” Aigner’s creative director explains. “She is an inspiration, keeping traditions alive yet being open-minded towards modern ideas. That’s Ascia, and that’s AIGNER. A perfect match!”

The bag, which is a revamp of the Munich-based label’s classic Genoveva, is a nod to Ascia’s penchant for practical fashion and is aptly named the Ascia Bag.

“I am so excited to work with Aigner and Christian on this new collaboration,” says Ascia on the partnership with the brand. “The Genoveva Bag is so versatile and I had so much fun playing around with the colours and patterns. The bag is a perfect reflection of my style and Aigner’s craftsmanship. I cannot wait for the bag to hit the stores.”

This is the leather goods company’s first collaboration in the Middle East. The limited edition Ascia bag will be available in-stores from mid-January 2018 for Dhs3,425 (KD 280 in Kuwait, SAR 3,495 in Saudi Arabia and BD 350 in Bahrain).
