Aishwarya Rai Wore Another Middle Eastern Designer On The Cannes Red Carpet
The Bollywood star glittered in Rami Kadi
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is a huge fan of Middle Eastern designers. The Bollywood megastar is regularly spotted in Michael Cinco, and she just rocked another regional designer on the Cannes Red Carpet.
Aishwarya looked dazzling in a crystallised minted custom dress by Lebanese-American designer Rami Kadi at the screening of “Sink or Swim” at the 71st annual Cannes Film Festival.
The look was styled by Aastha Sharma, who paired the look with minimal jewellery and a modern take on the top knot.
The celebrity stylist was also behind Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s head-turning Michael Cinco look at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. According to Cinco’s team, it took a staggering 3,000 hours to make the butterfly gown and its 20-foot train.
Sharma wrote on Instagram: “My eternal muse, the most beautiful woman in the world, proving it again why we don’t deserve her. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan dons this trail-blazing work of art by Micheal Cinco for her first red carpet appearance for the Cannes Film Festival 2018 representing our country with pride and elegance the way only she can.”
