An influencer in the truest sense of the word, My Theresa's Fashion Buying Director is the woman behind your wardrobe. Here are her ultimate highlights and the looks that really got her heart racing...

The Best of Fashion Month: Tiffany Hsu's Fashion Forecast

At the helm of My Theresa's buying team, Tiffany Hsu has become a firm fixture on the front row. Her personal style is a unique mix of minimal cuts with a maximalist colour palette that we're always happy to see on Instagram. So this fashion month, we asked her to take us along for the ride...

A fashion week highlight…

“The Jacquemus show – it’s so rare for me to see a collection that I want for my whole wardrobe. The model casting was great with Bella and Gigi Hadid and the legendary Laetitia Cast, while the scenography and simplicity of the venue allowed the clothes to speak for themselves.”

Most worn piece during fashion month…

“My Balenciaga Knife pumps and my Bottega Mini Jodie bag.”

Tiffany layers up her tailoring - a key trend for S/S20

Dominant trends to expect for AW20…

“The super minimal 90s silhouettes with cut-outs and sheer panels, most notably at Khaite. Also, black is the new black, fringe detailing, luxe tailoring and winter whites.”

Favourite fashion week hotel to stay at…

“Hotel Principe Di Savoia in Milan is my home away from home, they always look after me so well.”

Hotspots to visit during fashion weeks…

“In Paris, Caviar Kaspia and Imperial Treasure; in Milan I like Langosteria and Bar Basso; while in New York I love Wayan.”

Fashion week gossip everyone is talking about…

“That Phoebe Philo is returning – a rumour I wish would come true.”

Favourite show location…

Saint Laurent always build a stage in front of the Eiffel Tower and when the lights illuminate the tower at 7pm, it's a very special experience.”

I’m shopping for…

“Anything Bottega Veneta.”

The most worn item amongst showgoers…

“Bottega Veneta shoes in any style!”

Star brands of the season…

“Jacquemus and Jil Sander, plus I really liked the accessories at Prada and Bottega Veneta, specifically the rubber-soled boots and fringe bags.”

How I stay healthy during fashion week…

“Fashion week can be tiring so I have my daily dose of vitamins, manuka honey and ginger shots that keep me going every day."

When packing for fashion month…

“I fold my clothes vertically, Marie Kondo-style, so I can easily see what I have and take them out without messing up my suitcase. For a longer trip, I hang everything up as soon as I arrive at the hotel and divide into categories."

“I pack around eight day looks and three evening options per city and way too many shoes – around 10 pairs!”

Favourite new talents…

“Eera has turned fine jewellery into something more modern and fun. It’s a fine jewellery brand for cool girls.”

Emerging new talents…

“I really like what Peter Do is creating as it’s rare for a young US-based designer to come out with such sophisticated tailoring that is timeless, yet innovative. Secondly, it's not a new brand, but I’m loving Wardrobe.NYC for their simple and well-cut silhouettes. Every piece is a modern girl’s wardrobe essential.”

The accessories set to become cult pieces…

“The Row presented many great pieces but the oversized envelope bag stood out for me. For shoes, Khaite’s western boots and Sies Marjan's clogs were clear winners.”
