With the current global shortage of hand sanitizer yet another luxury fashion brand is stepping up to the plate by producing hand cleansing gel to help in the fight to eradicate COVID-19.

Bvlgari is committed to supporting the scientific and medical community and has always believed in the “intelligent hands” of those craftsmen and women who have made Italy the country of excellence in the luxury world and has announced its further contribution.

The company has vowed to do its part in protecting the “innocent hands” of doctors, nurses and volunteers on the frontlines, fighting every day to save the lives of millions of people.

“Aware of the difficult situation we are experiencing, we believe it is our duty to contribute with our know-how and production facilities,” Bvlgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin said in a statement.

Over the next two months, Bvlgari will manufacture several hundred thousand 75ml recyclable bottles of hand-cleansing gel to be distributed in priority to all medical facilities throughout Italy.
