Ever since Fashion Forward burst on to Dubai’s fashion scene in 2013, Fashion Forward became a source of pride for Dubai’s burgeoning fashion industry. The dynamic platform served to nurture showcase the very best of the region’s homegrown talent and it became a hub for fashionistas and industry professionals to mingle and indulge the very best of what the local industry had to offer.
The highly-anticipated four day fashion extravaganza kicks off today and we couldn’t be more excited for it. Here is everything you need to know about Fashion Forward October 2019 Edition:
When is Fashion Forward?
Fashion Forward will take place from October 30 to November 2, 2019.
Where will the events take place?
At the Design Quarter in Dubai Design District.
Who can attend?
Fashion Forward October 2019 is a free-to-attend event that is open to both the industry and the general public. Online pre-registration or an official invitation is mandatory for access. Seats at the shows, presentations and talks are subject to availability however, The Garden, brand activations, F&B outlets, after-parties and social events within FFWD will be accessible to all guests. 21 international and regional designers will showcase their RTW and couture collections at fashion forward this season: Amato, Atelier Zuhra, Ezra, Michael Cinco, Yousef Al Jasmi, Arwa Al Banawi, Behnoode, Hessa Falasi, Mrs. Keepa, Roni Helou, Sadeem, Varoin Marwah, Hass Idriss, Hazem Kais, Jessica K, Lobster Claw, Maison Farah Wali, Nadya Dzyak, Reemami, Thym, and Tanya Skaff.

A series of curated talks, discussions and workshops addressing the indsutry’s most pressing issues will serve to create an engaging dialogue to share views, knowledge and wisdom between some of fashion’s most well-respected personalities and attendees. Featuring the likes of Laudomia Pucci, Deputy Chairman, Image Director, and daughter of Pucci founder Emilio Pucci; beauty icon and entrepreneur Joelle Mardinian; sustainability champion Shahd Al Shehail, d3’s Fashion Talks are an absolute must for any fashion enthusiast.
