Giorgio Armani is set to stage his Cruise 2021 fashion show in Dubai to celebrate the re-opening of the Giorgio Armani flagship store at The Dubai Mall.
“I’m very happy to be back in Dubai after ten years, especially on the occasion of the Expo 2020 which will place a great emphasis on the city. Dubai is a luxurious and fascinating place with a soul focused on the future, always in pursuit of the imagination; and it’s the perfect place to present my Giorgio Armani Cruise 2021 collection,” said Giorgio Armani.
The iconic Italian designer has always maintained a special fondness for Dubai as it was the city in which he inaugurated the first-ever Armani Hotel in 2010.
The announcement of Giorgio Armani’s Dubai fashion show further cements the city’s position as a fashion centre on a global scale. Dubai’s glamourous lifestyle and burgeoning luxury sector continue to attract major brands and designers from across the world and the city has previously played host to Chanel’s Cruise Collection show with Karl Lagerfeld in 2014 and Dior’s Haute Couture Show with Maria Grazia Chiuri in 2018. This will mark the first time that Dubai will host a Giorgio Armani fashion show and we have a feeling that it will be epic.
