BAZAAR takes a first look at some of the collection’s statement pieces
We announced back in April that Parisian label Karl Lagerfeld was joining forces with 33-year-old American fashion influencer Olivia Palermo, and hot in the footsteps of the ex-The Hills star’s first Insta post sharing the first look – she was snapped sporting a black leather jacket with the phrase ‘Karl State of Mind’ across the front – the BAZAAR team have now got our hands on even more looks from the new collection.
Featuring KARL’s iconic Parisian aesthetic fused with Palermo’s eclectic viewpoint garnered from her time travelling the world, the 24-piece collection – which is accompanied by five additional pieces that Palermo co-designed – will pre-launch in Dubai on June 12 and globally on June 27.

Palermo has already revealed that she wanted to stay true to Karl’s signature Parisian style, but wanted to add her own ‘feminine’ touch, so get ready to fill your wardrobes with skinny-fit leather biker pants, tailored suits and maxi-dresses that resemble a bomber jacket fused with a pleated skirt. Craving more? Expect statement white button—down shirts – a staple in her own wardrobe – as well as technical leggings, a sports bra and sweatshirt with a graphic logo for more athletic occasions.

“Our collection focuses on universal wardrobe essentials like a leather biker jacket, white button-down shirts and tuxedo suiting,” said Olivia. “I wanted to play with KARL’s iconic Parisian classics and add my own touch that’s eclectic and feminine. I used my travels and experiences in different cultures to inform my edit, to ensure its wearability from Paris to New York and beyond.”
Rumour has it she’ll even be making a trip to Dubai to launch the collection – watch this space!
