Paco Rabanne Collection Launches Exclusively On Matches Fashion
The online e-tailer has secured an early delivery of the designer’s 1969 anniversary bag and Autumn/Winter 2019 pre-collection
We might still be in the heights of summer, but that doesn’t mean it’s too early to start thinking about your autumn wardrobe. Luckily matchesfashion.com has just secured an exclusive drop from Paco Rabanne’s AW19 pre-collection and we’ve already got our credit cards at the ready.
Comprising six exclusive 1969 chainmail bags and 20 pre-collection pieces not available elsewhere, the collection will be celebrated with an interactive installation at 5 Carlos Place in London, welcoming UK customers into the world of the Spanish designer via two conceptual experiences. From LED screens, mirrored details and a vending machine from which customers can purchase unique collectibles, we’re seriously considering the next flight out.

The collection itself celebrates the advance launch of the 1969 anniversary bag which, assembled by hand, boasts a chic chainmail design that bridges past and present through its artisanal technique. As for the AW19 collection, fans can shop slinky Deco-pattern-printed chain mail dresses, ‘40s-shouldered velvet frocks and short curvy cocktail dresses with glamorous trains.
