Stop everything: SemSem just launched several exclusive Resort 2020 styles on Net-A-Porter.
With a background in Civil Engineering and an innate intuition for precision, quality, and functionality, SemSem Founder and Creative Director Abeer Al Otaiba mentions of her new Resort 2020 collection, “I wanted to make a powerful statement about the core of our brand identity and show a new direction for the future of SemSem.”
This season’s focus aimed to bring out a completely bold new dimension to SemSem. The New York based atelier utilised the many talents of its in-house creatives, taking from Al Otaiba’s own multicultural upbringing, Mediterranean, Emirati, Egyptian, French, to come up with brilliant hand-painted designs and uniquely SemSem patterns.

Whilst drawing inspiration from the iconic Bianca Jagger during her legendary Studio 54 era, the evening-ready pieces include beautifully embellished separates teamed with dramatically diaphanous jumpsuits and dresses.
