Victoria Beckham Wears Our New Favourite Slogan Tee

The designer wears this season’s hottest item

The fash pack has gone crazy for slogan tees of late. Maria Grazia Chiuri at Dior and Alessandro Michele at Gucci started the trend and the style set has wholeheartedly embraced it. Dior’s “We Should All Be Feminists” tee has sold out in boutiques across the world, Michele’s Gucci logo tee is a model staple, and last season Prabal Gurung followed suit sending each of his models down the runway in a variety of tees emblazoned with a range of empowering and political statements. And the latest designer to get on the bandwagon? None other than Victoria Beckham. 

The designer poked fun at herself yesterday, sporting a tee from her Victoria, Victoria Beckham line that read “Fashion Stole My Smile”, famously referencing her often stony-faced appearance. She told Bazaar US, “I’ve just launched my collaboration with Target, which has been so much fun to work on. There’s a lot of print, a lot of bright colour, and lots of kids clothes! Designing the kids’ pieces, with all these little bumble bees and bunnies really made me smile… I wanted to create something to mark that feeling – poking fun at my sometimes ‘serious’ persona if you like. That’s what this VVB ‘Fashion Stole My Smile’ T-shirt is all about.”
