Queen Rania In The UAE: What She Wore While Visiting Abu Dhabi

Queen Rania’s sartorial choices are always full of bold prints and vibrant colours – and this past weekend was no exception…

The King and Queen of Jordan, King Abdullah II and Queen Rania, were both in the UAE this past weekend to receive the Zayed Award for Human Fraternity.

She stepped out in Abu Dhabi for her first public appearance of the weekend in a black and millennial pink floral button-down midi dress by Erdem, accessorised her frock with black leather and metallic pink Tom Ford pumps and a pink Gucci clutch. Queen Rania posted the below photo on Instagram, writing in the caption, “Many thanks to the United Arab Emirates, its wise leadership, and its people for their kind invitation and warm hospitality.”

To receive the award, Queen Rania opted for a colour blocking moment; she donned a below-the-knee A-line skirt in a striking red shade by Emilia Wickstead, which she paired with a white puff-sleeved blouse by Lebanese designer Salim Azzam, bringing the look together with a pair of nude Salvatore Ferragamo stilettos. Ever the image of poised elegance and grace, she was pictured intently watching the ceremony, flanked by her husband.

Among the remarks were pre-recorded messages by The Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Sheikh Ahmed Al-Tayeb and Pope Francis. They both praised Queen Rania and King Abdullah II for championing the importance of coexistence.
