Red Sea Fashion Week Closes With Stunning Swimwear, Sustainability, And Saudi Talent
The style extravaganza concluded with pieces by KSA-based creatives as well as international creatives
In a grand finale that epitomised artistry and cultural heritage, Day 3 of the Red Sea Fashion Week (RSFW) in Saudi Arabia dazzled with a spectacular show by Rebirth, the brainchild of Saudi designer Tala Abukhaled.
Hosted at the Ummahat Island, the event underscored the Kingdom’s rise as a luxury fashion epicentre.
Rebirth’s collection, inspired by the majestic palm trees of Saudi Arabia, exuded a natural elegance. Models walked to the rhythmic beats of drums, adorned in garments crafted from linen and other natural fabrics.

The collection’s muted palette was occasionally punctuated with vibrant hues, while tassels, wooden beads, and braided elements infused texture and depth. A standout piece, a dress paired with a crochet headpiece, beautifully merged traditional motifs with contemporary flair.
Speaking to Bazaar Arabia, the Riyadh-born designer said: “Being at the Red Sea Fashion Week is more than amazing. I am Saudi and I am getting to showcase my talent in Saudi Arabia.”
Earlier, the day began with a vibrant explosion of what seemed like swirls of watercolours from Dubai-based designer Hadia Ghaleb. Her collection, a celebration of bright hues — pinks, blues, turquoise, and reds, featured modest swimwear elevated with elements like silver metal buttons and chains.
The pieces were styled with matching tote bags and sarongs, with some including swimming hijabs.

Next, Niluu’s collection transported the audience into a lush jungle dreamscape with their signature green-dominated prints.
Staying true to their brand motto, “Refined comfort with an earth-positive footprint,” Niluu showcased pieces made from vegan silk derived from cupro, a yarn spun from recycled cotton harvest waste. This collection masterfully combined environmental consciousness with luxury, emphasising on sustainable fashion without compromising on elegance.

The event began on May 16 with an opening fashion spectacular by Saudi designer Tima Abid. The second day was a swimsuit and knitwear extravaganza.
Celebrities such as Lebanese singer Cyrine Abdelnour and Saudi television personality Lojain Omran were in attendance as well as influencers Deema Al Asadi and Alanoud Badr, known as Fozaza online.
The excitement of Day 3, organised by the Saudi Fashion Commission, added to the Kingdom’s strong commitment to becoming a top destination for haute couture and cultural excellence. Each collection showcased at the RSFW celebrated a unique fusion of innovation and heritage, firmly positioning the event as a cornerstone in the global fashion calendar.
