The Fashion Awards 2021: The 10 Best Dressed
We round up our favourite looks from the biggest night in British fashion
Last night saw the real-life return of the Fashion Awards, bringing the biggest names in British fashion to the Royal Albert Hall for a night of celebration. The event honoured the likes of Tommy Hilfiger and Alessandro Michele, and paid tribute to the late, great Virgil Abloh with a number of emotional speeches from friends and colleagues. We also saw surprise performances from Kylie Minogue and Charli XCX, celebrated a number of up-and-coming fashion designers, and remembered some of the biggest fashion moments in what has been a transformative year for the industry.
The Fashion Awards also brought some serious glamour to the capital as supermodels, musicians, actresses and designers all put on their finest for the big night.
Here, we round up 10 of our favourite fashion moments from the red carpet. From the biggest ballgowns to the most statement prints, here’s who we have crowned our best dressed at the 2021 Fashion Awards.
To see more from the Fashion Awards red carpet, head this way.
Dua Lipa
On a very big night for British fashion, Dua Lipa took the opportunity to champion one of London’s most exciting designers, wearing a black strapless gown with sleeve detail by Maximilian Davis.
Priyanka Chopra in Richard Quinn
The Fashion Awards always provides a great opportunity to make a fashion statement, and Priyanka Chopra did just that. The actress chose a striking floral look by Richard Quinn, which was made up of a catsuit, matching boots and a dramatic coat.
Demi Moore in Fendi
Demi Moore embraced a little Christmas spirit with some sequins, choosing a chic off-the-shoulder design by Fendi, which featured a fun train. She teamed the look with black opera gloves, round-toed court shoes and straight, glossy hair.
Jenna Coleman in Dior
Jenna Coleman is always the picture of elegance, and last night was no exception. The actress wore a beautiful white Grecian-inspired gown from Dior’s cruise 2022 collection.
Alexa Chung
Alexa Chung embraced ladylike elegance on the red carpet, wearing a frothy yellow design by up-and-coming designer Caroline Hu.
Jourdan Dunn
Supermodel Jourdan Dunn was on hand to inject some serious glamour onto the red carpet, wearing a beautiful structured design by couturier Andrea Brocca. She teamed the dramatic gown with pointy red shoes and a low ponytail.
Gabrielle Union
Wearing perhaps the most enormous gown of the evening was Gabrielle Union, whose lime green Valentino ensemble turned heads for all the right reasons.
Halima Aden
Halima Aden looked impossibly chic in a black, sleeved, ankle-length gown, which featured draped detail on the shoulder. She teamed it with some very dramatic dangly earrings.
Mona Tougaard
Model Mona Tougaard looked sensational in a red two-piece from Alaïa. The design featured a strapless bralette and a long fishtail skirt with an asymmetric waistline.
Erin O’Connor
We love a trouser-suit moment on the red carpet, and Erin O’Connor proved just how elegant it can be. The supermodel chose a pinstripe design by Tommy Hilfiger, which wore bare underneath, and teamed with slicked-back hair and some statement platforms.
