Whoever thinks we have to say farewell to spring greens in autumn has clearly never seen Amal Clooney's style. The human rights attorney stepped out in New York City yesterday wearing an emerald top and matching knee-length skirt by Zac Posen—the perfect ensemble for an elegant date night at New York's opulent Frick Museum.
For accessories, she settled on more subdued tones, with a champagne clutch and suede pumps. She also wore what appears to be diamond hoop earrings.
Husband and Hollywood luminary George Clooney looked every bit of the suave complement to Amal's classy attire. George opted for darker tones, wearing a charcoal-gray suit, black dress shirt, and black shoes.
Over the weekend, the couple celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary, although in much more casual apparel. Then, Amal channeled the style of the early aughts, wearing a black miniskirt, black jacket, black knee-high boots, and a pink sweater. Meanwhile, George went for the classic-dad-at-brunch look, sporting a blue polo shirt and jeans.
It seems that fall hasn't kept Amal from choosing bright, bold colors. The lawyer was also recently seen wearing a yellow trench coat with a purple dress and, on another occasion, a matching Burberry lime-green coat and skirt.
