Everything Priyanka Chopra Wore At Her First Cannes Film Festival
Her debut on the Croisette was everything we hoped for and more…
Cannes Film Festival plays host to some memorable fashion moments, and no least to those of actress Priyanka Chopra. She made her hotly anticipated Cannes red-carpet debut last week, and her first-ever look definitely did not disappoint. The past few days, Priyanka has been at the top of her sartorial game, both on and off the red carpet. She’s graced us with some truly standout looks and conquered the festival’s fashion scene, whilst even championing a Lebanese and a Saudi designer…
Priyanka’s first ensemble was this ethereal all-white jumpsuit from up-and-coming Saudi designer Honayda, which she wore to the premiere of 5B. After posting a snap of Princess Diana’s iconic Cannes gown on her Instagram account the day before, also strapless and flowing and with a similar scarf around the neck, we suspect the Bollywood actress may have taken some inspiration from the British royal.
But the Quantico actress’s first-ever red-carpet number came in the form of this glittering, strapless Roberto Cavalli custom gown with black and rose-gold sequins, thigh-high slit and train. She wore it on to the Rocketman premiere on the festival’s second day, pairing it with Christian Louboutin ‘So Kate’ pumps and jewellery by Chopard. She went for her hair in voluminous curls, completing the look with a dramatic cat-eye.
Another day, another showstopping look from Priyanka Chopra. As you’d expect, her daytime looks have been no less eye-catching. She served us this summery ensemble arriving at the film festival on Friday (day three). She looked radiant in a satin sky-blue dress with an Alaïa corset belt and white wide-brimmed hat.
The star donned this high-neck lavender Fendi number with sheer, mermaid-inspired skirt for the Chopard Party on the film festival’s third day. She matched the dress with Fendi pumps and statement diamond earrings from Chopard. She went for her hair up in a bun and striking blue eyeliner.
The Isn’t It Romantic actress looked fierce in a Tommy Hilfiger backless orange dress on Friday, from the spring 2019 TommyXZendaya collection. She paired the long-sleeved gown with chunky gold hoops from Chopard.
Go big or go home, right? The former BAZAAR cover star made headlines on day four, channelling major wedding vibes on the red carpet in a lavish bridal gown from Lebanese designer Georges Hobeika’s spring/summer 2020 collection. She matched her heavenly tulle dress with an equally extravagant Chopard necklace. Looking straight out of a fairytale, she opted for a maximum-impact smokey eye and her hair slicked back in a high ponytail.
We live for a coordinating power couple moment. Priyanka and Nick went for metallic looks to attend the Vanity Fair party on Saturday night, with the Bollywood star dazzling in an embellished Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini silver dress and Nick looking dapper in a gold jacket.
