
Queen Rania Wears A Middle Eastern Designer For Visit To China
Her outfit featured a nod to the Asian country
This weekend, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan travelled to Asia to meet with Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jibao at the XIN Philanthropy Conference in Hangzhou to dicuss the need for continued support for global education initiatives and thank China for their help towards Jordanian refugees.
For the occasion, the mother-of-four chose an ensemble from Lebanese label Georges Charkras’ Haute Couture autumn/winter 2018 collection. As a nod to her visit, the top and trousers featured a red sash in the colours of the Chinese flag. She paired her look with Salvatore Ferragamo ‘Giglio’ pumps and Givenchy bag.
Queen Rania delivered the keynote speech at the China-based conference recent conference. “This is an exciting time to be in China. I’m grateful for the relationship that our two countries share; particularly for China’s strong support of refugees in Jordan,” she says.
