Entrepreneurs and trendsetters Lana El Sahely and Alaa Balkhy star in short films for Tod’s D-Styling bag campaign

Back in the ‘90s, the Tod’s D-Bag was a firm favourite of Princess Diana. Fast forward ten years and it can still be spotted on the arm of royals, from Kate Middleton to Charlotte Casiraghi, as well as Hollywood’s elite, from Nicole Kidman to Diane Kruger.

An emblem of the Italian label’s internationally renowned leather craftsmanship, Tod’s no longer sells the D-Bag, but has replaced it with an updated and evolved model. They’ve launched the D-Styling bag: the modern, 21st-century offspring of their timeless classic. To honour the occasion the brand has shot a series of films (entitled ‘My Life Is In This Bag') featuring A-listers and their trusty D-Styling bags. And we’re in for a treat, since Arab beauties Lana El Sahely and Alaa Balkhy are part of the cast.

In her ‘My Life Is In This Bag’ clip, Saudi it-girl Alaa Balkhy takes us to Jeddah’s historic Al Balah district. The entrepreneur explains her deep connection to her native city, and also reveals the absolute essentials she carries around in her D-Styling bag.

In another ‘My Life Is In This Bag’ film, we see Dubai through the eyes of Lebanese fashionista Lana El Sahely. We get an intimate look into her daily life during Ramadan - aspects of work and play - whilst she gives us a closer look at her enviable arm candy.

We’re dying to get our hands on this collection...
