Last month, British-Greek designer Mary Katrantzou and Victoria’s Secret took to Instagram to tease an upcoming collab. Fast-forward four weeks and the two fashion brands have revealed even more about what to expect from this weekend’s runway show in New York — and trust us, the collection is a floral dream.
The "Queen of Prints" offers up a collection of bold statementwear, from workout gear to lingerie. The essence of this line is the duality of the pieces. Katrantzou explains they can double up both as under garments and gym apparel (genius?!).
“Everything that Victoria’s Secret creates is about a woman feeling confident and empowered — and also having fun with what she is wearing,” says Mary Katrantzou in a press release. “This collaboration is going to be bold, fun, and playful."
The collection will be revealed this weekend on 8 November at the 2018 Victoria’s Secret runway show in New York, and will be available to shop from mid-December on the brand’s new Middle Eastern-focused e-commerce site.
If the success of last year’s Victoria’s Secret X Balmain collaboration — where Oliver Roustein designed a 22-piece sell-out capsule collection of bags, t-shirts and underwear — is anything to go by, you might want to book set a Goggle Alert on this collection drop.
