Celeb-fave Beirut-based jeweller Ralph Masri's newest collection embodies meticulous craftsmanship with a timeless aesthetic

Ralph Masri’s masterpieces are frequently spotted on A-list icons by the likes of Her Majesty Queen Rania, Meghan Markle, Gigi Hadid and Katy Perry. Earlier this month, the eponymous brand launched its Roman antiquity-inspired, brand-new collection entitled Heliopolis on a Moda Operandi trunkshow.

The featured design elements, with their sophisticated aesthetic, are influenced by the shapes and patterns seen in centuries-old archaeological structures that are found in Heliopolis, also known as Baalbek in Eastern Lebanon.

With history tracing back over five thousand years, the ancient Phoenician city of Heliopolis is home to the world's largest Roman temple.

"This collection pays homage to one of the most magnificent places I’ve ever been to and to my country’s heritage," shares Masri. The intricate designs imbue elements reflective of ancient Roman history and culture.

Spanning an array of rings, necklaces and earrings, the collection comprises double-layered yellow and rose gold pieces that are matched with diamonds and rubies on lower layers and combined with elegant, polished gold finishes.

Ralph Masri will launch a brand new flagship store in Downtown Beirut in summer 2019.
