Virtual Luxury: How La Perla Is Celebrating The 25th Anniversary of Its Most Iconic Collection

Maison, La Perla's iconic best-selling collection, is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year -- and we couldn't be more excited to reveal the plans the Italian luxury lifestyle brand has in store to celebrate this special occasion.

La Perla’s most treasured and timeless line is, to this day, still handcrafted in the Bologna atelier where it was born, made with Italian silk satin from Como, and finished by hand with an antique and intricate Florentine Frastaglio embroidery technique. What better way to mark the milestone than by launching two anniversary capsule collections, along with a very special virtual experience? 

Maison Rainbow and Maison Metallic will be unveiled to the world through La Perla's first virtual experience that will take the viewer through the brand's luxury hideaway: Villa La Perla. Throughout the experience, audiences will be able to explore the Maison archive, watch first-hand the craftsmanship behind the collection and discover the new campaign.

Maison Rainbow, launching this month, evokes imagery of hope and re-birth by featuring four classic Maison styles in pale green and wild rose. 

Maison Metallic, launching in November 2020, reimagines the collection in shades of gold, bronze and platinum threads.

The capsule collections will be available in-store and online on September 6, along with the Villa La Perla experience.
