Living in the UAE can be very harsh on the tresses, especially during the hotter months of the year when our hair is exposed to the elements of the environment. From saltwater water and chlorine, to hard water and the everyday stress of life, nearly everyone experiences some form of hair damage or hair loss within their first year of moving to Dubai.
Online forums and Facebook groups are filled with women asking questions about how to keep their hair silky-smooth, frizz-free and healthy. And while repairing hair damage isn’t as easy as the shampoo commercials make it out to be, opting for a professional treatment is one of the best ways to minimize the appearance of breakage, prevent frizz and keep your tresses looking healthy.
Pastels Salon has recently launched a range of in-house treatment packages that complement its blow-dry services, each one designed to target a specific hair-related concern.
Each package offers a complimentary treatment or two, as clients can decide whether they would like to opt for a set of four (and one additional complimentary treatment) or eight (and two additional complimentary treatments).
Treatments range from rich L’Oreal hair masques to Kérastase Paris Fusio-Dose concentrate, and are all designed to make your hair look at its best once blowdried to perfection.
Prior to getting start with the process a Pastels’ expert stylist will take the time to chat with you about your hair concerns, before recommending the best treatment for your specific hair needs. Some treatments can be applied multiple times per week (but only if the hair is quite damaged), while others should only be used once per week.
Whether you’re going for a super sleek look, or want voluminous Victoria Secret model hair, all the treatments are designed to enhance and prolong the results of your blow-dry (i.e. they won’t leave your hair weighed down and greasy).
Package prices start at Dhs560, excluding the price of a blow-dry. Package prices including blow-dry start at Dhs1,040.
