6 Regional Designers Showing At Paris Haute Couture Week

Arab designers have been taking Paris Haute Couture Week by storm throughout the past few years. So, what can we expect from the upcoming S/S2022 couture shows? And who will be showing again?

While a couple of designers like Georges Hobeika and Maison Rabih Kayrouz will have digital presentations, Zuhair Murad and Elie Saab will be having physical shows.

Last year Zuhair Murad, Elie Saab and Georges Hobeika pulled out of the spring-summer Haute Couture Week. However, courtier Zuhair Murad presented his autumn-winter 2021 haute couture show in person with a small number of guests.

Nonetheless, here are some of the regional designers to look out for at the 2022 spring-summer Paris Haute Couture Week

Georges Hobeika

Known for his luxuriously embroidered gowns and gorgeous silhouettes, Georges Hobeika is all set to present a digital show at 13:00 CET (16:00 GST) on Monday, January 24.

Maison Rabih Kayrouz

The Lebanese designer who prides himself on sculptural and wearable couture will be delivering a digital show on Monday, January 24 at 18:00 CET (21:00 GST).

Rami Al Ali

Known for his stunning gowns, Rami Al Ali is all set to present a digital show which will be livestreamed on Monday, January 24 at 10:00 CET (13:00 GST).

Zuhair Murad

The Beirut born courtier known for his embellishments, sparkles, and dramatic gowns will present a physical presentation and a livestream of the show on Wednesday, January 26 at 12:00 CET (3:00 GST).

Elie Saab

The Lebanese designer known for his theatrics and gorgeous ruffles will present a live show with guests in attendance and a livestream on Wednesday, January 26 at 17:00 CET (20:00 GST).

Ziad Nakad

The Lebanese designer known for his statement ensembles and intricate detailing presented his SS22 Couture Collection with guests in attendance on Wednesday, January 26. To see the full range, visit ziadnakad.com.
