Paris Haute Couture Week S/S2022: Everything You Need To Know
From “phygital” shows to regional powerhouses taking the catwalk by storm, Bazaar Arabia shares the full schedule here…
Industry insiders and fashion lovers are looking forward to attending or watching Paris Haute Couture Week S/S2022 — however, this year seems slightly different from last year as many fashion houses are going ahead with phygital shows, meaning there will be digital and physical shows held together.
According to The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, top fashion houses like Schiaparelli, Christian Dior, Chanel, Alexandre Vauthier and Valentino will be holding physical shows.
Chanel, however, won’t be live streaming the event but will be revealing the show film at 14:00 CET (17:30 GST). While many designers are going ahead with physical and digital shows, some brands have been canceling shows entirely. For example, according to Reuters, Armani has decided to pull out of men’s and haute couture week in January due to the rising Covid-19 cases in Europe.
How To Stream Paris Haute Couture Week S/S2022
So while some brands and fashion houses will present their shows in person, some are also choosing to livestream their collections on The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode.
It’s not the first time where Haute Couture Week has gone digital. Last year, many shows had to adapt to a digital format due to the pandemic.
