With a six-day Eid Al Fitr break coming up next week in Saudi Arabia, residents are gearing up for the festivities. Whether you’re planning a staycation or looking forward to relaxing time at home, experiencing the vibrant fireworks is a must in Riyadh.
Bazaar Arabia has compiled a list of locations in the city that offer spectacular views of the displays, as well as live performances to mark the special occasion.
From iconic landmarks to top leisure destinations, these spots promise an unforgettable experience.
Where To Watch The Eid Al Fitr Fireworks in Riyadh
Boulevard City
One of the city’s most happening leisure destinations, Boulevard City is going to have a fireworks display to mark the occasion. Head to the Time Square area at 9pm daily, beginning on the first day of Eid Al Fitr, to see the spectacular show.
Via Riyadh
The Via Riyadh area is also putting up its own fireworks display, which will take place around the iconic Al Faisaliah Tower, according to TimeOut Riyadh. When the shows will take place is yet to be announced.
Concerts And Shows To Watch In Riyadh
The city will also be hosting several musical performances during the holidays.
Saudi musicians Abadi Al Johar, Zena Emad, Abdulla Almestrih and Wisam Khassaf’s band are set to hold a concert at the Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University theatre in Riyadh on April 12.
Another theatrical performance, The Neighbor (Al Jar), will play at the Mohammed Al Ali Theatre in Riyadh’s Boulevard City from April 14 to 17.
Opening hours of popular areas have also been extended over the Eid break.
Boulevard City will be open during the Eid break from 4pm to 2am, with their entertainment cities at Boulevard World welcoming visitors until 1am.
The Via Riyadh will also be extending it’s opening hours for the holiday, with the area being open to the public from 8pm to 3am.
