While one might have their own opinions about the protagonist, her American-in-Paris ways, and the show’s somewhat predictable plotline, whether you love or hate Emily Cooper this award-winning Netflix series is completely addictive. Emily in Paris Season 2: Everything You Need To Know

The countdown has begun! Netflix’s teaser of the upcoming series is getting us all excited for the episodes to come. Scheduled on December 22, just in time for the holidays, we can hardly wait to see what adventures, trials, and tribulations Emily (and her statement-filled wardrobe) encounter while on vacation in the South of France.

According to PEOPLE, who spoke to series creator Darren Star (the mastermind behind some of the most iconic hit shows of the past few decades including Beverly Hills, 90210, Melrose Place and SATC) our heroine – who is played by the thirty-two-year old American-British actress, Lily Collins –  will have a new love interest and a fresh set of challenges to tackle at work in Emily in Paris Season 2.

“I think she also just gets more immersed in learning French and really struggling with the language in a way she didn’t get to do first in the first season, because she’s really trying this season,” he told the celebrity news magazine.

Old friends and new characters will be making an appearance, as viewers follow Emily along as she samples oysters al fresco, parties with the South of France’s elite holiday-makers, and yachts in style – all while snapping the odd picture (or two, or three) for her Instagram feed.
