Harper’s Bazaar Arabia Takes DIAFA 2023 by Storm

The 7th edition of the Distinctive International Arab Festival Awards (DIAFA) took place last week at Dubai Festival City’s Festival Bay – and Harper’s Bazaar Arabia was there, ready to capture all the action live.
Broadcasted to over 6 million viewers around the world, the ceremony was streamed on a variety of platforms and channels including Dubai TV, Dubai One, OSN Ya Hala, OSN First, OSN+, Rotana Musica, LBC, Rotana Khaleejiya, MBC Wanasah, Al Mashhad TV and Al AlKaheraWalNas as well.


Paying tribute to the late cinematic legend Faten Hamama, affectionately known as The Lady of the Arabic Screen, the star-studded evening featured an array of regional and international celebrities in attendance including Jacqueliene Fernandez, Salama Mohamed, and Turkish actor Burak Deniz.

Harper’s Bazaar Arabia’s Editor in Chief Olivia Phillips, dressed in Taller Marmo, presented Egyptian actress Mona Zaki with a DIAFA award for her achievements in cinema and her humanitarian contributions.

Senior Fashion Editor Nour Bou Ezz, dressed in Valentino – along with Fatma Bouchiba, Boudi Dib, and Mayssa Toni Assaf – hosted Bazaar Spotlight live from the red carpet.

The quartet of fashion critics evaluated esteemed guests red carpet looks, presenting the awards for Best Dressed Woman and Man of the evening at the end of the ceremony.
