Highlights From The Grand Opening Of Atlantis The Royal.

Atlantis The Royal opened its doors this past weekend with what might have been the grandest spectacle Dubai has ever seen. Celebrities from around the world and international influencers were invite down to experience the ultra-luxe resort – complete with a private concert by Beyoncé.

The mega development holds 795 hotel rooms and suites, 17 world-class restaurants (which are all run by celebrities, of course), a sky pool situated on the 22nd floor, and a luxurious spa that redefines the meaning of extravagant wellness.

A lobby with extravagant art sculptures, the Atlantis Royal Dubai is giving luxury a new meaning.

The Opening Of The World’s Biggest Nobu

The famous sushi restaurant has not only opened a new location at the Atlantis The Royal, but also its biggest. Friday night the Japanese chef Nobu Matsuhisa and co-founder Meir Teper performed a Japanese ritual from the 15th century in which the round lid of a sake cask (kagami) is broken and opened (biraki) to invoke harmony and happiness for years to come. Judging by the success of the celebrity-loaded event, the restaurant’s new location is a guaranteed success.

Kendall Jenner’s Launch Party

The grand opening was kicked off by Kendall Jenner hosting a regional launch party for her tequila label 818 at Atlantis The Royal’s Cloud 22 Skypool. The model wore a lime green Victoria Beckham dress to celebrate with celebrities like Shanaya Kapoor, Jay-Z and Karen Wazen.

The Pre-Beyonce Carpet Spectacle

Numerous A-listers attended the iconic Beyonce concert and were all showing off their best looks on the carpet, like Dubai-based content creator Karen Wazen with husband Elias Bakhazi wearing a stunning gown by Giuseppe di Morabito.

The Concert Of The Decade

After five years of not performing on stage, this past Saturday Queen B was back with a concert to remember. From Halo over Crazy In Love to Drunk In Love, the mega star sang all her most popular songs. The finale had the mega star being lifted up high in the sky whilst fireworks went off behind her making her look like a stunning supernova.

Daughter Blue Ivy On Stage With Beyoncé 

Beyoncé’s performance came with many positive surprises, one of them being her eleven-year-old daughter joining her on stage for her song Brown Skin Girl.

The Mayyas Dancing With Beyoncé 

Together on stage with Beyoncé, the Lebanese dance group the Mayyas enhanced an already stunning performance with their own moves.

Swedish House Mafia’s Spectacular Show

Lights, beats, action. The three members DJs Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso of the popular group put on an incredible show with an incredible light show, making sure the after-party following the Beyoncé concert was a spectacle itself.

Nobu At The Beach

Because one Nobu is not enough, a second one has opened exclusively for guests who are tanning at the pool and enjoying an afternoon at the beach. For the Japanese ritual for luck chef Nobu Matsuhisa was joined by filmstar Rebel Wilson.

The Ivy Park Fashion Show

Ending the weekend with a bang, Beyoncé’s athleisure clothing line Ivy Park put on a fashion show, presenting its newest line dominated by camouflage patterns and bright orange hues.
