What is Saudi National Day?
Saudi National Day is a national holiday in KSA that celebrates the unification of Hijaz (the West Coast and areas of the Kingdom) and Najd (the central region) which occurred in 1932, leading to the birth of Saudi Arabia (which was named after KSA’s first ruler King Abdulaziz Ibn Saud.)
Is Saudi National Day a Public Holiday?
Saudi National Day is considered a holiday for both the public and private sectors in KSA. Therefore, all residents can expect to have a four day long weekend in September.

When is Saudi National Day?
This year Saudi National Day festivities will be taking place from Friday, September 20th to Monday, September 23rd, 2024 – meaning residents and nationals will have four days off work this year, according to numerous sources.
