Last weekend the Al Maktoum family — the ruling family of Dubai in the UAE — hosted the wedding of Sheikha Mahra Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum to Sheikh Mana Al Maktoum.
Pictures and video clips of the ceremony were widely shared on social media platforms by one of Sheikha Mahra’s friends, showcasing the luxurious decorations that adorned the Saeed Hall at the Dubai World Trade Center — although it wasn’t until earlier this morning that Her Highness decided to share images from the nuptials with her followers on Instagram.

On her special day, the beautiful bride looked absolutely radiant in an embroidered dress crafted by Dubai-based designer Ezra Couture. She complemented her attire with exquisite diamond jewellery and a diamond watch by Chopard.
Her Highness also chose to leave her long hair flowing, adorning it with an embroidered veil. Her make-up was artfully applied by Somayh Aljanahi; Sheikha Mahra opted for her signature smokey eye and a natural nude lip.
As they entered the hall, the bride was accompanied by her groom. She carried a bouquet of Baby’s Breath flowers.

The hall was adorned with exquisite arrangements of white flowers, lending an air of elegance to the festivities. The tables were tastefully decorated with bouquets of white flowers and gentle candlelight, creating a captivating ambience. The marriage between Her Highness Sheikha Mahra bint Mohammed Al Maktoum and Sheikh Manea Al Maktoum was announced back in April 2023; the newlyweds shared the news via social media with a heartfelt poem penned by the father of the groom.
Who is Sheikh Mana al Maktoum, Sheikha Mahra’s Husband?
Back in March Arabian Royal Agency, an Instagram account that reports on news related to regional royals, reported Sheikh Mahra was engaged. A recent university graduate who holds a degree in International Relations from a London university, it was revealed on April 5 that she wed Sheikh Mana Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Bin Mana Al Maktoum.
While both Her Highness and Sheikh Mana boast relatively active Instagram accounts, both royals keep a relatively low profile when it comes to sharing any information about their private lives — and this extends to details about the wedding planning.
While Sheikh Mana al Maktoum keeps a low profile, he is quite active on Instagram and appears to be stepping into the spotlight more often, especially with his recent appearance at the launch of Novikov Café.
