Dubai’s Hypertower: Everything You Need To Know

Plans to build the world’s tallest residential building have been unveiled – and with it the ultimate nickname…

What is the Hypertower in Dubai? The residents and netizens have come up with a nickname for what could very well be considered one of the most ambitious construction projects in years to take the city by storm in recent years.

Last week plans to build the world’s tallest residential tower (one which will beat out New York’s Central Park Tower for the title) were announced.

Where will the Hypertower in Dubai be located?

According to Arabian Business, The Burj Binghatti Jacob & Co residences will be located in Business Bay near Downtown Dubai and will boast 100 storeys, with two and three-bedroom residences.

The announcement took place at the Coca-Cola Arena on November 16, unveiling the grand collaboration between Real Estate Developer Binghatti and jewellery brand Jacob & Co.

Fittingly so, the top of the building is designed to resemble a crown, with diamond-like structures that are sure to sparkle in the sunlight.

The penthouse apartments will be named after three of Jacob & Co.‘s most iconic timepieces: Fleurs de Jardin, Astronomia and Billionaire – with the later being the most opulent. A special concierge service will be on hand to meet the needs of residents living in these grand suites.

The Hypertower will also be home to a members club.

“The skyscraper will feature the most lavish penthouses at the highest altitude of the hypertower, each named after Jacob & Co’s flagship timepieces. Our collaboration with Jacob & Co on this architectural tour-de-force reflects our commitment towards marking a globally groundbreaking feat for Binghatti,” The Real Estate Developer wrote on a recent Instagram post of building renderings.

When will the Hypertower be built?

At the moment, it’s unclear when construction will be finished. Check back soon for more details.
