His Highness Sheikh Tamim, the Emir of Qatar, and his wife, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Hamad Al Thani received a warm welcome from the British royal family during their recent state visit to the UK – which naturally piqued public interested in Her Highness.

Who is Sheikha Jawaher Bint Hamad Al Thani?
Born in Doha in 1984, Sheikha Jawaher was raised in Qatar and attended Qatar University, where she received a Master of Arts degree. She married His Highness Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in 2005 at Al Wajba Palace.
The couple have four children together: Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani; Sheikh Hamad bin Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani; Sheikha Aisha bint Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani; and Sheikh Jassim bin Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
As the Emir’s wife, Her Highness has accompanied her husband on many overseas trips, including their official visit to the U.K. this week, where they were welcomed by Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, and then hosted by King Charles III and Queen Camilla.

For her arrival in London, Sheikha Jawaher bint Hamad Al Thani chose an haute couture Dior coat from the S/S22 collection, complemented by a Llora Official handbag and elegant taupe heeled pumps.
Escorted by the Prince and Princess of Wales, the Emir and Sheikha Jawaher bint Hamad Al Thani arrived to observe the Horse Guards Parade, where they were greeted warmly by King Charles and Princess Camilla.
As the Sheikha and Queen Camilla viewed a selection of priceless pieces from the Royal collection and the Turquoise Mountain Foundation at Buckingham Palace, the Sheikha’s jewellery choices came to the fore – she wore pear shape diamond drop earrings to complement her pear shape diamond ring.
The Emir and the Sheikha then visited Westminster Abbey with Westminster Dean David Hoyle, exploring one of the most important places of worship for the British Royal Family.
For a grand banquet hosted by King Charles and Queen Camilla, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Hamad Al Thani wore a custom-made burgundy gown by Jean Paul Gaultier, complemented by a regal velvet cape.
