Yusra Mardini is Back On The Catwalk at BOSS…
This marks the second time our the Bazaar Arabia cover star has walked the runway since appearing in our January 2023 issue
Harper’s Bazaar Arabia’s January 2023 cover star Yusra Mardini walked in BOSS’ S/S 2023 fashion show on Wednesday, strutting down the catwalk alongside celebrities like Naomi Campbell, Pamela Anderson, and stylist Law Roach. This is the second time the IOC Refugee Olympic Team swimmer appeared on the runway this season; back in January, she walked in CasablancaA/W 23/24 show.
The BOSS Spring/Summer 2023 fashion show took place in Miami on March 15 and was unveiled before a group of more than 500 guests. The collection itself draws inspiration from the city where the show was held – the pieces explore ‘the underlying duality and creative enigma that lives between the abstract notion of opposing states’.
Among those who walked the runway were Naomi Campbell, Pamela Anderson, Law Roach, DJ Khaled, Precious Lee, Ezra Frech as well as Yusra herself.
Yusra was on the cover of our January 2023 issue beside her fellow swimmer and sister, Sara Mardini, where the sisters opened up about the release of their Netflix film, The Swimmers (2022) as well as their inspiring life journey.
