It’s everyone’s favourite time of the year: the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) has started. The month-long annual event, which is taking place until 27 January, sees a month of amazing deals and discounts across the city. To celebrate, fashion influencers Rosemin Manji and Enjy Kiwan take us on a tour of Jumeirah’s best shopping destinations.
Starting off in City Walk, our first stop is Bazaar’s Harper’s Bazaar Café before checking out Hub Zero, Green Plant and Level Kids – your one stop destination for busy mums on-the-go.
If you’re after a spot of retail therapy, visit City Walk between 23 and 27 January and take a stroll down Designer’s Walk where you’ll find the best home-grown talent selling on-trend abayas, glamorous kaftans and an array of hand-crafted jewellery and accessories. On hand for all your beauty needs is City Walk’s Urban Decay, which will be celebrating their one year anniversary with two exclusive in-store make-up masterclasses, plus a meet-and-greet with renowned beauty stars and the chance to walk away with a gift worth Dhs1,500.
Our next stop is the newly opened La Mer, Dubai’s hottest new beach, dining and shopping destination, stretching out across Jumeirah Beach. In celebration of the DSF, La Mer will be hosting a weekly firework display on the beach every weekend from 9pm – an event not to be missed!
Al Wasl Road’s Box Park spans 1.2 kilometers and is home to nearly 50 distinctive retail outlets and quriky eateries, and is where we end our 24 hour tour of Jumeirah’s must-see spaces. Don’t leave without checking out the vintage-style Roxy cinema – a total Bazaar fave.
Stick Man live at The Madinat Theatre, Souk Madinat Jumeirah – The award winning production, which is based on the best-selling children’s book by Julia Donaldson, is brought to life vividly with this smash hit West End production. Daily showing from 17 to 20 January.
