Bollywood star Sonam Kapoor is now well renowned for her sartorial flair, oozing effortless glamour on every red carpet she walks. Whether it's at an international film festival, an after party or on a talk show, we've come to expect no less than a best dressed list-topping ensemble.
This past weekend, the Indian actress turned heads in red at the trailer launch for her upcoming film, The Zoya Factor. She took to the red carpet in Mumbai donning a custom fiery-red gown from Georges Hobeika. A modification of an ethereal number from the Lebanese couturier’s spring/summer 2019 collection, the off-the-shoulder dress features sleeves forming a scarf at the neck. Hobeika is fast becoming a go-to designer on the red carpet this season, with filmmaker Nadine Labaki making a Venice Film Festival appearance in one of his designs.
The award-winning actress has a penchant for Middle Eastern designers - she’s sported creations by the likes of Zuhair Murad, Atelier Zuhra, Ashi Studio, Rami Kadi and her long-time favourite, Elie Saab. Back in May, Kapoor opted for a midnight-blue Elie Saab gown at Cannes Film Festival.
