The trend for transparency was huge at Chanel this season. The French fashion house sent everything from water-repellent boots to hats down the runway. Plastic also showed up at Anya Hindmarch, Burberry and Calvin Klein.

It wouldn’t be the Spring/Summer catwalks without a cascading runway of romantic ruffles. From Erdem to Alexander McQueen, Simone Rocha to Preen, this year’s silhouettes were bigger than ever.

Cinderella shoes were the footwear of choice for designers this season. At Preen, embellished Mary Janes were paired with socks, there were princess pumps at Victoria Beckham, and glitter galore at Tom Ford.

We love a trend that is practical and stylish, which is why waist belt bags tick all the boxes for us. The sporty accessory showed up on the catwalks at Prada, Gucci, Supreme, and Salvatore Ferragamo.
