Forbes has released their annual list of the highest paid actresses – and let’s just say it pays to be either a Marvel superhero or on a TV series.
Johansson dominates the list earning Dhs205 million thanks to her eight-figure Marvel pay check for her upcoming Black Widow film.

Second place goes to former BAZAAR cover star Sofia Vergara, with a salary of Dhs162 million, making her officially the highest paid television actress thanks to her work on Modern Family.

Big Little Lies stars Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman ring it at fouth and fifth, followed closely by Jennifer Aniston.

Despite there being an ongoing conversation around equal pay in Hollywood, the women’s list fell short to the men, which saw The Rock come out on top with an $89 million pay packet – a staggering $33 million higher than the highest paid actress.
