The Marrakech International Film Festival is back after a two-year-long hiatus which was forced by the pandemic. The festival, which is in its 21st year now, has long been one of the prominent film festivals in the Arab Region and is chaired by Prince Moulay Rachid of Morocco. The festival is mostly devoted to Moroccan Cinema but brings together some of the most prominent names in writing, acting, and directing.
The 19th edition of the Marrakech Film Festival was inaugurated on 11th November and will run until 19th November.
From Isabelle Huppert who made a statement in Dior Haute Couture to Nabila Kilani looking like a dream in Créations Ouafae Bennani, a Moroccan designer house, Bazaar Arabia brings to you some of the most stylish looks from the festival so far…
Nabila Kilani
The renowned Arab TV and radio presenter was at the film festival as a presenter and she looked like an absolute dream on the second day. Wearing the Moroccan designer house Créations Ouafae Bennani, the presenter was seen in a full-sleeved embellished powder blue dress with statement earrings and wavy hair.
Diane Kruger
The German actress and the prestigious Trophée Chopard award recipient is attending the film festival this year as a part of its jury. On the night of the opening, Diane turned heads in an Alexandre Vauthier piece from the label’s Couture Fall 2022 collection and Chaumet accessories.
Isabelle Huppert
The French actress who is also described as one of the best actresses in the world, made a dramatic entry on the red carpet in a hooded coat from Dior Haute Couture’s Spring-Summer 2021 collection.
Vanessa Kirby
The star, most recently noted for her appearance in the critically acclaimed Netflix series The Crown, made a sensational appearance on her first day as a member of the jury. In a black tailored jacket from the Alexander McQueen Pre-Spring/Summer 23 collection and a sleek hairdo, the actress looked like a very chic, modern-day femme fatale.
Virginie Efira
The Belgian-French actress and television presenter, well-known for her notable work in In Bed with Victoria, made a strong appearance in a YSL suit and bow tie, proving that women in suits are here to rule the red carpet.
Marina Foïs
The prolific French actress brought all the bling and glamour to the carpet in the Louis Vuitton piece from the label’s FW22 RTW collection. The look, which was paired with knee-high leather boots was an unconventional choice for a red carpet appearance but the actress definitely managed to pull it off.
