The ring in question was handcrafted by British designer Shaun Leane at his atelier in Mayfair, and co-designed by the groom, who worked closely with Leane to create something unique for his bride-to-be. The bespoke experience began with a detailed personal consultation with Mozzi, a press release from the jeweller explained, resulting in a one-of-a-kind ring that features many "personal and sentimental signifiers for the couple".
The platinum and diamond ring is a fusion of Victorian and Art Deco designs and is accompanied by two additional matching bands in the distinctive Shaun Leane aesthetic. The piece is set with excellent cut diamonds - all of which are GIA certified and ethically sourced.

"I am so honoured Edoardo chose to work with me to design the engagement ring for Princess Beatrice and to have been involved in this special moment in their lives," said Leane. "The bespoke experience was a beautiful journey; from imagining the design with Edoardo to the crafting of the finished rings. Being able to incorporate both Edoardo and Princess Beatrice's characters into the design has resulted in a unique ring that represents their love and lives entwining."
News of the couple's engagement was first announced by Beatrice's sister, Princess Eugenie, on her Instagram account.
"I'm so happy for you my dearest big sissy and dear Edo," Eugenie wrote. "It's been a long time coming and you two are meant to be."
