Supermodel Gigi Hadid has given us a sneak peek into her revamped New York City home and the décor is definitely not for minimalists...
Having shared her recently finished “dream spot” on Instagram, the model disclosed it took an entire year to finish decorating her new pad.
“Spent all of last year designing and curating my passion project / dream spot,” she wrote within the caption of the post that shared intimate images of her new home with her followers.
“Of course, it all came together right before quarantining out of the city.... but I’m excited for the time I’ll get to spend enjoying all the special corners that were made with a lil help from some of my favorite creatives (tap!) who embraced my ideas and didn’t call me crazy,” she added.
She also thanked her mother Yolanda Hadid for keeping her from going over-board with the décor.
“Love my mamma :) who is the greatest homemaking-sounding-board I could ask for (she called me crazy when required). Grateful to and for all.”
Following a rather eclectic theme, the New York City loft – which is apparently worth over $5.8 million dollars, according to the New York Post – it showcases a multitude of fun and unexpected twists, starting from billiard balls in a fruit bowl, all the way to a bathroom wall covered in vintage ‘The New Yorker’ covers.
Including furniture, art and furbishing from the likes of Jean Paul Gaultier, Missoni, Eamon Harrington, and all the more, Gigi’s apartment definitely channels her vibrant and youthful personality.
