Sherihan Is Teaming Up With Shahid For A Comeback Like No Other
The iconic Egyptian actress and performer will be returning to the spotlight sooner than anticipated…
After a 30-year hiatus one of the Arab world’s biggest entertainers will soon make a new debut on one of the most notable Arabic streaming platforms in the region.
Legendary Egyptian actress Sherihan – best loved for her riddles, extravagant costumes and elaborate performances – will be joining forces with streaming platform Shahid to make her much anticipated comeback.
Sherihan recently made an appearance in an elaborated Vodaphone Egypt advertisement, which went viral across social media platforms, alluding to her return but didn’t specify a particular date or project.

His Excellency Conselor Turki Al Shikh, Chairman of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority made an announcement on Twitter confirming Sherihan’s return.
“Stay tuned for the return of the great star Sherihan to the spotlight after an absence of years in a distinguished work on the Shahid platform sponsored by the Entertainment Authority,” he tweeted.
The initial idea of the project was that it would include a series of plays that tells the stories of influential women in history, but was altered to just focus on the life of Chanel.
Sherihan answered a fan’s question on Twitter last March, saying, “The legendary Coco Chanel play will be shown very soon on one of the strongest and greatest channels in the Middle East.”
Now the hashtag #TheReturnOfSherihan is trending on Twitter and fans are impatiently waiting to see their star back on the screen fascinating her audience once again.
Both Sherihan and Shahid have yet to announce a premiere date.
