The wedding bells have rung for Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck for the second time as the iconic couple got married again in a lavish, all-white event in Georgia on Saturday.
The second celebration was a weekend-long affair with a pre-wedding party and a big ceremony. Close family and friends of the pair joined them as they exchanged vows on Ben’s 87-acre private estate on Hampton Island Preserve in Georgia.
According to People Magazine, the guest list included some impressive names from the A-list of Hollywood, including the groom’s best friend Matt Damon and wife Luciana Barroso, top Hollywood agent Patrick Whitesell and actor Jason Mewes. Life coach Jay Shetty, author of Think Like A Monk, officiated the ceremony.
Jennifer opted for a custom Ralph Lauren creation featuring a gorgeous, grand train with ruffle detailing, cap sleeves, a cutout in the back and a sheer veil. Ben slipped into a matching white tuxedo to complement his bride.
The colour white seemed to be the theme of the event as in addition to the bride and groom, the guests also wore white and the venue featured white decor.
Airspace and river access was restricted for the public as the party enjoyed the pre and post-wedding festivities in complete privacy.
Jennifer and Ben were famously engaged in 2002, after meeting on the set of a film and dating for a few months, but the engagement never culminated into a marriage and was called off two years later. The second engagement came in April of 2022 and they officially tied the knot in an intimate ceremony last month after they spontaneously eloped to Las Vegas, marrying in A Little White Wedding Chapel with only their kids in attendance as witnesses.
