The Stars Are Blind singer shared a heartfelt image of her fingers intertwined with her newest family member up on her Instagram account. She captioned the post, “You are already loved beyond words,” followed by a blue heart emoji.

“It’s always been my dream to be a mother and I’m so happy that Carter and I found each other. We are so excited to start our family together and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy,” the entrepreneur and TV personality shared with People Magazine.

What is Paris Hilton’s Baby’s Name?

On February 23, 2023, the socialite shared the exciting news in an Instagram post which said, “My beautiful baby boy’s name is Phoenix Barron Carter Reum,”

In an episode on Paris’s iHeartRadio Podcast, This Is Paris, The Simple Life star revealed she had thought of the name 10 years ago saying, “Phoenix has a few good pop culture reference points, but more importantly it’s the bird that flames out and then rises from the ashes to fly again,”

Why Did Paris Hilton And Carter Reum Choose Surrogacy?

According to the Daily Mail, in an interview with Glamour UK, the Simple Life star spoke candidly about her experience throughout her process mentioning she had opted for surrogacy due to ‘always being scared of childbirth,’ and took her close friend, Kim Kardashian’s advice in freezing her eggs.

Additionally, both Paris Hilton and her mother, Kathy, had openly discussed the former Simple Life star’s struggles with trying to conceive. Back in April, Paris went on The Bella’s Podcast and discussed how she had always wanted children, touching on her and Carter’s plans to use IVF to conceive.

A few months later, Kathy revealed to E! News that her daughter had still been struggling with getting pregnant and it was a bit of a mystery as to why as she had “tons of embryos… stocked up,”

In the end, opting for a baby via surrogacy seemed to be the best option for Paris and Carter.

Who was Paris Hilton’s Surrogate?

Unfortunately, this information is unknown and we might never know. According to Cosmopolitan, the star went to extreme lengths in order to keep her surrogacy a secret with immediate family members not knowing Paris was expecting a baby.

Paris and Carter Aren’t Alone in Choosing Surrogacy…

Paris and Carter certainly aren’t the first celebrity couple to welcome a child via surrogate. Kim Kardashian, and former husband Kanye “Ye” West welcomed two of their four children, Chicago (born in 2018) and Psalm (born in 2019), via surrogate with other notable Hollywood A-Listers like Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick, Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson, Jimmy Fallon and Nancy Juvonen Fallon and Tyra Banks having started their respective families with the help of science.
