
Here’s How King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Celebrated Jordan’s 75th Independence Day
The Jordanian Royal Family spent the day at Raghadan Palace, where they were photographed together during the festivities
On Tuesday Jordanians celebrated 75 years of independence by raising the national flag across the country and projecting it on famous buildings.
A ceremony to celebrate the special day was hosted in Raghadan Palace and was attended by King Abdullah, Queen Rania and the Crown Prince Hussein accompanied by other Royal family members.
Queen Rania stunned in a black embroidered Jordanian Abaya paired with a Nuniz Cairo Lotus clutch and Jennifer Chamandi Lorenzo heels.
This day not only highlights the country’s resilience but acknowledges an undeniable milestone in Jordanian history. King Abdullah states that independence was “a symbol of pride and fortitude for the nation.”
Acts of celebration were also shared by the UAE as the special day saw landmarks light up in the colours of the Jordanian flag.
A Jordanian menu was also offered by Emirates Airlines on flights to and from The Kingdom to share the rich culture.
