Missed The UAE Solar Eclipse? Here’s How You Can Watch It Online
The next one won’t occur until 2022…
For those of you who missed out on this rare natural occurrence, fret not. You can now watch the recorded livestream video of the Partial Solar Eclipse, which was shared by the International Astronomical Center (IAC) this morning.
As stated by Arabian Business, the event was fully underway by 8:14 and peaked around 9:36. The spectacular show finished by 11:12, once the moon had fully completed its path across the sun.
The annular eclipses occurs when the moon passes between the earth and the sun, but is not quite close enough to our planet to completely obscure the sunlight.
Anyone who is keen to watch the global phenomenon is advised to refrain from looking directly into the sun without using special sunglasses that have filters to prevent eye damage from the sun’s rays.

The UAE last witnessed a ring of fire solar eclipse in December last year. The next solar eclipse visible from the UAE – which will be another Partial Solar Eclipse – is expected to occur on Oct 25, 2022.
