#ChicEats: Masti, La Mer
If you haven’t been to Masti, the question is, what *have* you been doing?
If we know one thing it’s this: the UAE has its fair share of absolutely gorgeous Instagram-worthy restaurants. But Masti is one of the few that has clocked on to all the Insta-action and are still rolling out beautifully plated bites that don’t compromise on quality of food.
Here you will find excellent cocktails and modern Asian fare. The La Mer-based haunt boasts quirky and affordable spins on modern Indian cuisine – think slow cooked lamb croquettes with Kashmiri spices, beef tenderloin with jerk spice, and burrata and truffle pizza with makhani sauce.
The restaurant boasts chic, flowery and magazine-style decors and facades, with brass fixtures, novelty lights and a kaleidoscopic mixture of beautiful Bollywood-esque hues. Oh, and don’t forget the obligatory toilet snap, too.
But if you want something more intimate (and even prettier), head upstairs to the gin bar, which has the largest selection in the region.
Easily on of the best restaurants BAZAAR has been to for a while, if you want a cinematic view of Downtown Dubai’s skyline without shuffling up a skyscraper, unrivalled food bursting with flavour and the perfect cocktail spot for a night out with the girls, Masti ticks all the boxes.
